Amanda Mullenix knew she wanted to dance and perform at a young age after being inspired by seeing some beautiful professional dancers in the Nutcracker. Now, after 12 years of dance, Amanda continues to feel a deepening sense of joy every time she dances. She decided to be a Teacher Assistant her junior year and realized how much she enjoyed being with and influencing all of the younger dancers so she began subbing and taking over classes in the later part of that year and grew to love it more with every class. Her senior year she continued into her second year of teaching and has learned, improved, and taken away various things from her experience since. She’s excited to see where God takes her as she furthers her dance training at Texas Christian University with a double degree in ballet and modern, along with getting her psychology minor, and plans to keep auditioning for companies for her years after!
