Ballet competitions are an incredible way for our students to develop through masterclasses, scholarship auditions, and judged performances.
Colorado Ballet Society believes that providing coaching and training for these competitions is an important experience to help support our pre-professional students on their journey to becoming professional dancers or attending university dance programs.
This one-of-a-kind experience will give the students the confidence and tools they need to set them up for success at competitions, as well as to get personal corrections on technique and artistry, and build their work ethic.
By invitation only and per the Artistic Director’s discretion. The Artistic Director will assign dancers classical variations and recommend contemporary choreography that best suits each dancer’s needs and talents.
Weekly rehearsals on Mondays and Fridays or at other various times scheduled throughout the week.
Dancers will rehearse 1-3 hours per week, per piece (solos, duets, trios, etc.).
Any additional required or necessary rehearsals must be scheduled as Private Lessons and paid as such.
Competition Ensemble dancers are encouraged to attend a minimum of four full week of summer and attend our Competition Preparation Workshop.
