Colorado Youth Ballet (CYB) is the resident ballet company at CBS. It was founded in 2003 in response to the high level of achievement in the CBS studios.
Each year, the roster is comprised of 40-60 auditioned dancers from the age of 9 years. Colorado Youth Ballet ensures that dancers with exceptional talent and potential obtain the necessary experience to go on to professional careers or will further their ambitions in college or university programs.
Many members have been awarded scholarships to summer programs of renowned ballet and dance programs at major universities. And CYB dancers have received top honors in state and national ballet competitions.

Company members are required to attend all CBS sponsored master classes.
Company involvement and fees are a commitment for the entire season.
Company members have weekly rehearsals on Tuesdays & Saturdays in addition to their regular classes. All sessions are mandatory.
Training for a minimum of four full weeks over the summer with Colorado Ballet Society is required.
