In Secondary Division, students train in progressive levels of Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Broadway, and Worship to attain a well-rounded dance education.

Classes within Secondary Division are designed to build interest in dancing, strengthen muscles, build the dance vocabulary and develop a sensibility of the artistic and performance qualities of dance.  

Colorado Ballet Society is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 9 level program that combines high-quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels.

The Secondary Division season runs

​August 5th, 2024 – May 24th, 2025, excluding scheduled closures.

We have open enrollment all year long. The enrollment deadline forperformance participation is February 1st.
