Colorado Ballet Society to Open Second Location in Falcon
Colorado Ballet Society is expanding to a second location and welcomes everyone to stop by their Open House celebration on Saturday, May 19th, 2018; 1:30pm-4:30pmat Peak Gymnastics, 10610 Maltese Point; Falcon, Colorado 80831.
“We recognize Falcon as a growing and independent community,” says Colorado Ballet Society founder and director, Patricia Hoffman. “Even though our current location will be adding a new sixth studio space by fall, we think the time is right to add a new branch, and Falcon seems like a perfect location.”
Now celebrating its twentieth season in Colorado, Ballet Society invites the public to stop by the new location during the open house to meet their faculty, draw to win prizes, and take advantage of their grand opening specials, including $10 OFF registration fees, a FREE t-shirt, and a $10 coupon for newly enrolled student to use at Ballerina Boutique.
Classes offered at the new location include Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary & Broadway.
Students of Ballet Society are regular scholarship award winners and this spring over $125,000 in scholarship awards have been offered to dance competition winners and graduating seniors heading to college.
“We are proud of all of our students,” shares Hoffman. “Dance training is beneficial to so many aspects of life-even to those who don’t intend on pursuing it as a career. But, it is always gratifying to see that we are giving those who do aspire to dance professionally a real opportunity to jump into this field competitively.”
Studio Manager, Mia Otto, has been working tirelessly preparing for end of year programs along with overseeing the expansion details.
“Colorado Ballet Society is a great studio with fantastic training and amazing performance opportunities,” claims Otto. “We really take pride in what we have to offer and are excited about expanding our program through the Falcon location.”
Ballet Society performance opportunities include year-end productions in the Children’s Division, Studio Division, and Pre Professional Division. Additionally, students are invited to audition for the Contemporary Dance Company and the Colorado Youth Ballet, which presents its annual Nutcracker production at the Pikes Peak Center in December. An active National Honor Society for Dance Arts chapter is sponsored by Ballet Society and NHSDA students host workshops and extra performances, along with raising funds for need based scholarships for dance training.
