Lauryn Mechelse, a Colorado Ballet Society graduate, has been dancing since she was four years old, first at Tennessee Dance Arts Conservatory (now The Children’s Ballet Theatre) and eleven years as a student at Colorado Ballet Society. She was a teaching assistant for three years for Sparkles, tap, and ballet. Throughout her years at CBS, she has performed in Swan Lake, La Sylphide, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and A Midsummer’s Night Dream, and has been cast in eleven different roles in The Nutcracker. In 2021 and 2022, she also performed as the soloist dancer for the Glen Eyrie Madrigal. To further continue her dance career, she plans on auditioning for many companies that come her way, although her goal is to become a Radio City Rockette.
