Ford began his serious ballet training at Colorado Ballet Society under the direction of Patricia Hoffman, and there performed as part of the resident Colorado Youth Ballet and Connexus Dance Collective. He joined Chicago-based Ballet 5:8 in 2019 as a Trainee, being subsequently promoted each season, and became a Company Apprentice in 2021 and Company Artist in 2022. At Ballet 5:8 Ford had the privilege of working with acclaimed choreographers Julianna Rubio Slager, Matthew Rushing, and Steve Rooks. During his professional performing career Ford taught ballet and realized his passion for seeing students grow in the art form technically and artistically, but more importantly as whole individuals spiritually and emotionally. He has studied the ABT National Training Curriculum as well as the Vaganova system and seeks to give his students excellent training in a healthy and loving environment.
